Our client is a fast-growing Agritech company on a mission to help livestock farms operate more efficiently and sustainably. Their intelligent feed management platform combines automation, inventory management, feeding optimization, and business analytics to support data-driven farm operations.

Today, the platform supports farms across 7+ countries on 3 continents, including Ukraine, the Netherlands, Georgia, Germany, and the United States.

Business Challenges

The client envisioned an all-in-one digital ecosystem for modern livestock farms that would automate feed management, improve operational visibility, and support sustainable farm growth.

To bring this vision to life, they needed a technology partner capable of:

  1. Building a scalable platform from scratch
  2. Supporting multiple user roles and organizations within a single system
  3. Integrating IoT devices used in feeding operations
  4. Providing multilingual capabilities for international expansion
  5. Delivering actionable analytics for farm managers

The platform also needed to accommodate different stakeholders, including farm owners, consultants, and administrators while maintaining data separation between organizations.

Using an Agile delivery approach, our team developed a comprehensive web-based feed intelligence platform that combines farm management, inventory control, feed planning, IoT integration, and business analytics in a single ecosystem.

Core Features

Automated Feed Planning

Farm managers can create and schedule feeding plans for different livestock groups. The system automatically calculates feed requirements and supports daily feeding operations based on predefined ingredients and portions, and feeding schedules.

Inventory and Warehouse

The platform provides complete visibility into feed stock levels, warehouse operations, and inventory movements. Farmers can monitor available resources and prepare future feeding plans based on actual stock availability.

Ration & Recipe Management

Users can create, maintain, and archive feed recipes for different types of cattle and livestock. The solution supports ration optimization, historical tracking, and automated forecasting to improve feed planning and operational efficiency.

Offline-First Ecosystem

To accommodate workers operating in fields with unreliable internet connectivity, the broader ecosystem includes offline capabilities through a companion mobile application, ensuring uninterrupted access to critical operational data.

IoT Integration

The platform integrates with sensors connected to feed mixers. Operational data is collected from hardware devices and transmitted to the web platform, enabling real-time monitoring and more accurate feeding processes.

Reporting

A powerful reporting module provides operational and financial insights, helping farm managers improve resource planning, identify operational bottlenecks, and make data-driven decisions.

Multi-Tenant Architecture

The platform supports three user roles: Platform Administrator, Farm Client, and Consultant. Each role has tailored access to management, farm operations, reporting, and advisory features.

Learning & Knowledge Hub

To support continuous education, we integrated a training module connected with Notion, allowing users to access educational materials and best practices directly within the platform.

Multilingual & Multi-Metric Support

The platform supports multiple languages and both metric and imperial measurement systems, enabling seamless adoption across international markets and regions.

Modern UX/UI Redesign

Our team redesigned the web platform interface to improve usability, navigation, and user experience.
