About Client & Business Challenges
Client & Product
Aznut manufactures spreads and crafts items made with nuts. As things got busier, it became much more difficult to manage day-to-day activities, such as tracking batches, testing quality, and estimating quotes, which all existed in different spreadsheets.
Client required one integrated system that would allow everything to link together, right from manufacturing and quality assurance to selling, so that all can see what is going on in each process.
Business Challenges
As production ramped up, Aznut started losing visibility across its daily operations. Key issues became clear:
● Scattered production data. Reports were kept in separate spreadsheets, making planning slow and messy.
● Manual QA checks. Without a clear process, some steps were skipped, and results weren’t always recorded the same way.
● Limited traceability. It took too much time to track batches and lots through different production stages.
● Cumbersome quoting. The old Excel calculator demanded manual input and often led to small but costly errors.
● Unreliable emails. Sometimes notifications in Microsoft Outlook did not reach the right recipients, causing confusion between teams.
All these small issues accumulated, resulting in interdepartmental friction and reduced production. Without automation, these issues would have been recurring every time there was a surge in workload.
