SoulSpice is an European spice brand for premium organic and fair trade spices from smallholder projects in traditional spice growing regions such as Kerala, Zanzibar, Java and Vojvodina.

SoulSpice supports farmers in sustainable farming practices and provides market access at fair prices in long-term partnerships, enabling them to grow the best quality spices and improve their livelihoods.

SoulSpice is a spice wholesaler in Germany. The business challenge was to move all company operations under one ERP system.

The customer’s goal was to find a suitable, cost-effective ERP system that would support all business operations, including manufacturing.

The biggest challenge was to invent a completely new ERP system in the company, as smooth as possible for the customer.

Our team integrated Odoo for:

Sales/purchasing process.

Stock management and inventory.

Manufacturing.

SmarTek’s approach was to break the project into a few phases: business analysis, implementation, quality control, delivery, and team member training. We communicated and documented all customer requirements.

Once the main BA artifacts were ready, we created a backlog of tasks. Then we prioritized them and started the development phase. We constantly communicated with the client to make sure that everyone stays in the loop of the project progress.

Once the development was done, we trained the key users of the new system to make sure that everyone gets a good user experience by using the new ERP system.
