PPE VR Training Simulator

We developed this technology to simplify the staff training process by incorporating VR to educate employees on three critical steps: hand washing (hand hygiene, hand scrubs), putting on (donning), and taking off (doffing) personal protective equipment (PPE). Training has been developed according to CDC and WHO guidelines and includes information from these sources.

VR PPE training is imperative, as current studies have proven that approximately 40% of healthcare practitioners make mistakes when removing PPE, putting them at risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19 or other viruses and bacteria. As a result, even perfectly designed Personal Protective Equipment items can’t protect the HCW.

PPE VR Training Simulator is simple to set up and created for ease and safety of use. Students can go to the VR system and take part in the simulation whenever they need tutors’ assistance.
