Overview
TAVR surgery is a unique VR training that may be used as scientific and educational material for cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and patients interested in the heart-shunt surgery process. In a nutshell, it’s aimed at providing users with a better understanding of the procedures associated with transcatheter aortic valve (TAVR).
With more than 100 years of history, heart shunt surgery is still a relevant method of treatment in treating cardiovascular illnesses, such as heart attacks, peripheral vascular disorder, or coronary artery disease. Moreover, thanks to modern trends in technology development, it has reached a fundamentally new level of accuracy and safety. Thus, TAVR surgery provides new opportunities for healthcare providers, medical students, and patients.
Leveraging VR technology, we managed to combine life-like 3D visualizations with a severe surgery process explained by best-in-class heart surgeons backed by years of practical experience.
